Groth Corporation offers Emergency Relief Valves designed to provide additional protection for tanks and vessels against overpressure situations that could lead to rupture or explosion. Here are two key models:

Weight-Loaded / Spring-Loaded Emergency Relief Valve

  • Sizes: Available in 16″ (DN 400), 20″ (DN 500), and 24″ (DN 600).
  • Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, and other materials.
  • Pressure Range: 2.60 – 27.7 inWC (6.46 – 68.9 mbarg).
  • Features: Grounding cable connects the head and flange, cushioned air pallet, peripheral guiding. Independently adjustable springs, FKM seating for a tight seal, easy access manway.
  • Certifications: ATEX approved.

These valves are designed to provide emergency relief capacity beyond that furnished by the normal operating pressure relief valve on the tank. They help protect against excessive internal pressures caused by fire or other overpressure events.
